Christine C Pintuff of Fairway Blvd, Wilton, NY died suddenly Thursday October 27, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer. She was 59 years old.

Born on May 22 1952 in Northampton, MA, she was the daughter of the late S. Stephen Czerapowicz and Jane Landry Czerapowicz.

Chris was a 1970 graduate of Northampton High School and a 1975 graduate of Northampton Smith's Vocational Practical Nurse Program. After working over twenty years as a LPN she returned to college to get her RN and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Adirondack Community College, May 2000. During her nursing career she has worked at various hospitals & nursing homes in MA, NY and MI. For the past 8 years Chris was employed by Saratoga Hospital before retiring earlier this year.

Chris married her husband Jeff on Oct 30, 1980 after meeting him on Cape Cod. As an avid reader Chris loved to sit on the beach and read or to walk the many beaches of Cape Cod with her husband.

Chris' entire life revolved around her family whom she could not do enough for as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and nurse. We miss you and love you very much.

Survivors include her husband Jeffrey, her son Stephen Pintuff and his wife Becky, her daughter Kathleen Pintuff and her boyfriend Cory Straker, three sisters Kathleen Connor of Northampton, MA, Mary Jane Farby of Pelham, NH and Jill Burlingame of Northampton, MA, two grandchildren, Alex and Aliya Straker and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces.

Family and friends may call from 10-12 on Saturday November 5, 2011 at the Tunison Funeral Home 105 Lake Ave. Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Peters Cemetery.
